Grief Banned now what?
With Grief gone from Legacy I did a little checking on mtg goldfish and mtgtop8. Reanimator/Scam fell from boing around 25% of the online meta to under 2% of the online meta. Delver and Eldrazi have come up as the winners of this ban. Expect to see more Delver and Eldrazi/ Land decks to show up.
We will see how the format shapes up as it has only been some days since the banning. For us here we have the next AZMS event coming up on 09/21/24. That is plenty of time to test new decks and see what pops up as a popular deck. We have everything that is releasing available and the next set is Duskmourn on 09/27/24 so that will not affect anything for this event.
